PHILOSOPHY The philosophy of AI- Istigama University is centered on its desire to lead the world in the areas of teaching and research. The University seeks to do this in ways which benefit society on a national and a global scale. The University will build on its mission of independent scholarship and academic freedom while fostering a culture in which entrepreneurship and innovation play an important role.
It is my greatest pleasure to welcome all our dear students to Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila to pursue courses in the various fields of study that are available in this University. At this point, I wish to, as the Vice-Chancellor, heartily advise you to make the best use of this rare opportunity of getting admission into this University and dedicate your time to pursue your respective courses of study with due diligence and commitment, be consistent and punctual in attending lectures; participate in all the components of Continuous Assessment (C.A); conduct yourselves as good representatives of your individual families in terms of sound character, present yourselves as good students of Al-Istiqama University anywhere you find yourselves, establish good relationship with your lecturers and other staff, colleagues and the immediate community.

Applicants must posses Five Credits in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two sittings in addition to meeting the aforementioned JAMB requirements
